SL34 was selected from a single tree by Scott Agricultural Laboratories in Kenya in the late 1930s. It is a tall variety known for its high yields and exceptional cup quality but is vulnerable to all major coffee diseases. SL34 belongs to the Typica genetic group and It is found in Kenya and some Latin American countries.
